5. Wilder By Nature Events & Classes
a) Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
We have a strict no-refund policy on events and class places and deposits. This includes cancellations due to illness, personal or professional reasons. At our discretion and if circumstances allow, we may be able to offer students transferral to an alternative event or class. We strongly recommend that you take out insurance against loss in the event of your being unable to attend the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that we have a minimum number of participants required in order to run our events and classes, and if the minimum is not met we may be required to cancel or rearrange dates. We reserve the right to amend or cancel events or classes and will endeavour to provide participants with as much notice as possible should this occur. We are not liable for any losses (including but not limited to travel and accommodation arrangements) that could arise as a result of event or class being cancelled.
In the unlikely event of an event or class being cancelled, particpants will be given the option of a full refund or the transferral of their place to an alternative date.
b) Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in the performance, in whole or part, by reason of cause beyond our control including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, accident, war, riot, lockout, strike, flood, fire, power or water failure, breakdown of plant or machinery, delay in transit, obstruction of access, postal delay, or any other unexpected or exceptional cause or circumstance.
c) Health & Safety
At the beginning of each event or class, participants will be informed about the Health and Safety policies of the farm or venue - any participant who does not comply will be asked to leave.
For destination events and classes, we may request participants to sign a disclaimer and to adhere to the Health and Safety policies of the venue. This will be clearly stated at the time of checkout.
d) Photography
Participants are welcome to take photographs in the studio, farm and of their own work during an event or class. Please ask permission before taking images of other's work or of anyone. Please credit the event attended if using images online.
We do not allow videos to be taken during classes.
We may take photographs during events and classes and retain the right to use these for marketing purposes on our website and social media. If you would prefer not to be included in any photographs please notify us in writing before the start of the event or class.
e) Personal Belongings
We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the studio. Students must accept full responsibility for storing personal possessions and removing them at the end of the day.
6. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and keep indemnified Wilder By Nature from and against all claims, damages, expenses, costs and liabilities arising in any manner from your entry to and use of the site other than in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. Law and Jurisdiction
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that Term or Condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from this clause and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. Rules and Regulations
Occasionally within the site you may find other rules or terms relating to specific material which may conflict with or contradict these terms and conditions. These could be rules for competitions, specific download requirements, or prize draws, for example. If there is any conflict then the rules or terms relating to specific material will win out over the more general terms and conditions.
